Serving on Employment Enterprises, Inc. (EEI)’s board of directors is an excellent volunteer opportunity for people in the Little Falls, Morrison County, MN area who care deeply about the well-being of adults living with disabilities.

About the Board

Our board is responsible for making important governance decisions about the mission and direction of our nonprofit organization. The board meets six times per year. Meetings are usually an hour. There are occasional committee meetings outside of regular Board meetings. Current Board meetings take place Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m.

Board membership falls into four categories:

  1. Family members or legal guardians.

  2. Professional people having responsibility for services to individuals with developmental disabilities, severe persistent mental illness, or related conditions.

  3. A person with disabilities.

  4. Representatives from the business community relevant to the needs of the organization. Areas of expertise include special education, government, human resources, finance, higher education, legal, and general business.
